Practice Format Change This upcoming season (2008-2009) we may be having our novice wrestlers practicing only one time per week (Tuesday). Also our more advanced wrestlers will be having a more intense wrestling practice one day a week. Hopefully this will be beneficial to those wrestlers just getting their feet in the sport and better preparing our older wrestlers for Jr. High competition. Duel Meet Format This upcoming season (2008-2009) we will be having more duel meet events. A mini-league experiment for the youth programs is being created this season and we will be taken a part of it. We hope to have each wrestler have two matches per meet with someone of like ability using two mats. The coaches will be setting up the matches prior to the event. Mandatory Parents Meeting & Practice Begins - Tuesday (November 25) We will be holding a mandatory parents meeting on November 25, 2008 at 6:30 PM at Lancaster Catholic. Practice also begins at the same time. Please be at the wrestling room by 6:30 PM and you will be directed to a near by classroom for the parents meeting.
